Dermal fillers
Dermal fillers are non-surgical treatments that restore volume, smooth lines, and enhance natural facial features for a fresher, more youthful look. They’re ideal for anyone wanting subtle, natural-looking enhancement or to soften early signs of ageing without surgery or downtime.
What are dermal fillers?
Dermal Fillers are a well-known and extremely popular injectable treatment for tackling volume loss (which is gradually declines with the natural process of ageing) in the face and enhance natural facial features.
Dermal fillers are HA or hyaluronic acid based injectables that naturally break down with time typically lasting 9-15 months depending on the area treated, thickness of the product and the amount injected.
What do dermal fillers help with?
The natural process of skin ageing isn't limited to fine lines or sagging, it's a complex cellular process that gradually reduces the skin's ability to regenerate, repair, and retain moisture. Polynucleotides work through several mechanisms:
Cheek filler
Restores lost volume and defines the cheeks, lifting the mid-face for a refreshed look.
Lips
Enhances shape, volume, and definition while maintaining natural movement and balance for fuller, hydrated-looking lips.
Nasolabial folds
This treatment softens and smooths the lines running from the nose to the mouth.
Chin
Chin filler improves projection and shape, enhancing facial harmony and creating a more defined profile without surgery.
Marionette lines
Lifts and softens by reducing the lines that extend from the corners of the mouth downward.
Temple Filler
Restores lost volume in the temples, softening hollowing and create a smoother, more balanced overall facial contour.
We recommend booking a discovery consultation first with Dr Diana, where a thorough facial assessment will take place to ascertain the treatments that will most benefit your unique anatomy and facial features.
Dermal fillers generally take around 1 hour to administer. Consent, risks and benefits, expectations and budget will be discussed and treatment plan will be agreed upon after a thorough facial assessment to provide the best results for you. Topical anaesthetic is generally applied 15-30 minutes before the treatment.
The Dermal fillers will then be administered through several injections. The initial injection may be felt but as the dermal filler contains lidocaine (numbing agent) the procedure shouldn't be too painful thereafter. You must ensure you are not planning to travel in the following 48 hours of treatment
